If you have been out to town recently, you’ll have noticed Ludlow businesses reopening. Let’s Go Ludlow, jointly with Pulling Together Ludlow, are keeping track of all the businesses, when they’re reopening and hours of business with this regularly updated listing.
Our wonderful and eclectic shops are adapting to the new way of life. Quite a few have put in huge efforts altering window displays, having a general spruce up to welcome you back. Not to mention the essential need to reconfigure layouts, to ensure compliance with social distancing rules and to keep customers and staff safe.
Life has changed and businesses are doing their best to meet customer needs, but it is a big adjustment. Opening times will vary from business to business, so we recommend you call ahead to be sure. In addition, as the Ludlow Market is closed on Tuesdays, so too are many of the town’s independent shops.
Some retailers are also trying to accommodate vulnerable customers by arranging special times for visiting. Understandably, the public may remain cautious as England reopens. We have been working closely with Visit Shropshire and Visit England to send out the message “know before you go”.
A reminder to keep a close eye on whether a business is open on the day you want to visit, you can check our Local Update listing or reach out directly (contact details are on the list). Keep abreast too on social media following #ludlowisopen and #staysafeludlow.
Pubs and restaurants will be allowed to reopen from Saturday, 4 July and several in Ludlow are ready to go as seen on our listing. More will be reopening in the coming weeks, along with B&Bs and other accommodation so watch this space.
