GETTING HERE

by car

Ludlow is situated on the A49 approximately half way between Shrewsbury and Hereford, Sat Nav to the town centre is SY8 1AS. There are three main pay and display car parks near the town centre: Castle Street, Upper Galdeford and Lower Galdeford (Smithfield). There is also a small pay & display car park at The Linney playing fields below Ludlow Castle.

park and ride

Ludlow park and ride services operate around the town from Monday to Saturday. The service operates from the Ludlow Eco Business Park, just off the A49 towards Sheet. The nearest postcode for GPS and journey planning directions is SY8 1ES. For more info and fares visit The Shropshire Council

by rail

Ludlow railway station lies on the Welsh Marches Line between Shrewsbury to the north and Hereford to the South. The station is on Station Drive and is a 10 minute (uphill) walk to the town centre.
