South Shropshire Youth Forum aims to meet young people’s diverse needs through creating individual and group opportunities for participation, education and celebration. SSYF has a proven track record in delivering services that respond to the needs of young people. Its core services are based on delivering youth clubs & play schemes, diversionary projects and helping to give young people a voice.
SSYF works with approximately 200 young people each year. Ages range between 8-25 years old, but young people are predominately aged 13-18. We run a variety of projects and deliver services depending on the needs of the young people in each market town area. These needs are prioritised through a process of ongoing consultation with young people. We provide activities during evenings during term time and also run day time projects in schools and provide services throughout the school holiday periods and at weekends.
