We’re celebrating 10 years of Ludlow Fringe and launching with a BANG! Get ready to join our Eco Carnival this Summer (18th June) by coming along to one of FOUR creative workshops over the Easter Holidays.
The Masterclass Making Weekend on April 9th and 10th is being held at Ludlow Scout Hut where internationally renowned puppeteer Andrew Purvin of Fetch Theatre will be leading the sessions. These are FREE to book and pay what you can on the day.
Help to create a huge swarm of bees with the kids on Saturday (children must be accompanied). On Sunday a lucky group of adults will be learning how to make a large-scale carnival sculpture. Morning and afternoon slots available – or you might want to stay all day!
And just when you’ve run out of ideas for entertaining the kids this Easter, we are back with two days of making funded by The Department for Education and Shropshire Council. Our HAF (Holidays and Food) sessions are held at The Ludlow Mascall Centre and are FREE for children in receipt of Free School Meals and run from 10 – 2pm with a healthy lunch included. For these, you can drop your children and go!
On Thursday 21st April, 4-11 year olds will work with wonderful Kate from Sticks n Stuff to make some big Carnival decorations. On Friday 22nd April, 11-16s can make some noise with Bym from Beat Bang Bong where they will learn Samba skills ready to bring to Carnival.
Limited paid-for places are available on the HAF sessions at £20 a day. Please get in touch for booking and further information.
We will be delivering more creative workshops for children and adults over the next couple of months, so keep an eye on our social media channels and website. If you’d like to join the Eco Carnival mailing list email Jess at the address below.
