We (Samuel and Beatrice) started The Pizza Trailer last year after restoring our vintage Rice horse trailer into a complete self-contained mobile kitchen and pizzeria. Specialising in the making of Neapolitan Pizzas, which are cooked at 400c degree for around 90 seconds in our wood fired oven.

We pride ourselves on using great local and British ingredients such as the superb Shropshire Salumi and What a Pickle’s delicious chutneys. All our mozzarella is supplied from Brue Valley farm Somerset, their mozzarella is made from their dairy herd on the farm and is the best we’ve ever tasted.
We make all our own dough using the best flour from Naples Italy, which is slowly proofed for around 36 hours which then makes a light and fluffy crust, which is easily digested.
Pizza to go
After a great first summer last year of trading at various events and catering for weddings and private parties we were looking forward to an action-packed spring and summer. Needless to say, our plans all came to a halt this March with all of our bookings having to cancel or rearrange.
However, we soon adapted our little business and started a local delivery service delivering within a 20- minute radius of HQ at Abdon Brown, Clee Hill. We post our menu of pizzas and sides on our Facebook and Instagram pages at the start of each week, and then take orders on Thursdays via phone for Friday and Saturday deliveries which run between 5-8pm.

We have had fantastic feedback and have really enjoyed bringing our pizzas to so many people, it’s great knowing we can make an evening feel a little special (even if it is only saving someone from cooking).
