The Lion Ballroom is a stunning Georgian building that is in the process of being renovated and upgraded for weddings, parties, private family gatherings and community events.

Situated off Broad Street in the town centre, it oozes period features. It was originally built in 1842 as The Lion Hotel and was a venue for people to stay in and be entertained in during the evenings in the ballroom. It has in more recent times been rented out into shops and offices. The ballroom was fully restored in the early 1990’s and has recently had another make over. It has wonderful architectural features in its plaster work and two magnificent chandeliers. The oak floor has recently been varnished and lobby been redecorated.

In September it was a venue for h.Art during Herefordshire art week and in November, hosted its first Pop Up Restaurant with the chef Steve Lyons who trained with Raymond Blanc.
