Every year revellers head to Ludlow Castle for the Spring Festival a weekend packed with fun festivities that start and ends with food and drink.

The Spring Festival bills itself as like a beer festival but with more. Plainly, it’s the classic cars that ahem, revvs up the fun!

The festival, which begins the evening of the 10th May and runs the 11th & 12th May, showcases some of the area’s pioneering food and drink producers. On the first evening there is the ‘Festival Pub’, where you can ‘Meet the Brewer’, ask any burning questions while sampling the winning entries from SIBA’s Wales & West Competition. All tickets are £5 on opening evening.

Naturally, for connoisseurs and enthusiasts the big highlight over the weekend is the impressive line-up of over 200 real ales, craft beers and ciders, wines and spirits. Not to mention, the tempting range of food stalls selling freshly prepared, locally sourced food-to-go.
